Italians shown their sportsmanship when losing from France. Players, coach, press, every poster on this forum, all congratulates French team and supporters.
Honorable behavior to my eyes.
Can't guess everyone in the world dislike this behavior. BTW which behavior must they like? Being sore losers? Insulting? Continuously rubbing the cup avoiding dust and waiting for the Genie of the Lamp (Cup)? And which aspect should the genie of the cup have? Of course, that retired (I miss him), bald (as mine), world-class absolutely top football player in the last 10 years, who someone here is sanctifying and nobelizing?

you may have completely missed the point, touzours.that trophy, though it languishes in a corner gathering dust, is an artifact which the Italians, inveterate collectors that they are, regard as a priceless treasure. it's proof of conquest, after all. who cares what it represents? you french put too much premium on your abstractions-honor, pride, self-respect, etc. italians aren't like that, they're an earthy, more practical people. who gives a hoot about liberte, egalite, fraternite when veni, vidi, vici works out fine? see how pointless it is to talk to them about winning dishonorably or losing honorably? why, you don't even speak the same language!

Even though Zizou headbutted that freak i think France played honorably and i think they are the real winners.
