It's hard being pregnant for the first time. You worry about everything. I was fortunate and was working for 2 doctors at the time and ran to them about EVERYTHING! I think maybe the person just read one too many questions that she considered silly.

This is yahoo answers, where everyone is able to freely give an opinion, so chances are, there are goingn to be alot of people who don't agree with eachother. Why do people get so offended at what other comments are. I have posted questions, and have gotton some rude remarks, but I don't think twice about it......who cares. I think you were taking the person way too literally and I don't think she was intending to offend you, in the future, when you ask a question, expect to get some answers that you don't agree with, or that are rude, and ignore them, and focus on the answer you do like. Why get all worked up over something "someone over the internet" says or thinks. Do they honestly have that much affect on your personal life. NO, not at all. Don't sweat the small stuff, and congrats on your healthy little soccer player.

I think right and wrong are strong words to use EVERYONE can say what they feel they have a right just as you have a right to not agree. Your going to come in contact with clashing personalities A LOT on line. PERSONALLY I am a mom of two 29 weeks pregnant I thought the question about the baby moving a lot was a tad silly. Most pregnant women ARE told at the doctors only to worry if they don't feel movement it's kind of common knowledge BABIES move A LOT it is not a sign of dis stress to have a active baby. I too worry a lot about my baby but, i know the diffrence between a real concern or just silly worries running thru my head

i agree. Its not wasting your time to worry about your baby. Maybe she just ment try and focus on something else. She should have elaborated more on the subject. LOL I know I ask a million questions on here all the time, because I like to know experiences. Its fun.

***I do think that it is a tad rude as well to point her out and try to make everyone talk about her. If you post something on yahoo answers your not always going to get an answer you like or agree with. If you get so upset over this you should not post questions because more than likely your going to get upset everytime. Besides, I really dont think she was trying to be mean.

Holy crap, grow some skin. She asked the same thing the day before, and everyone told her not to worry, and that no movement was a cause for worry.

Sitting around and worrying about every stage of the pregnancy makes you and the baby more likely to get sick due to stress. The more active you can be and the calmer you can remain the better off you are, and the calmer and healthier the baby can be.

There are all sorts of pregnancy books that cover all the basics of pregnancy from movement, or weird discharge and discomfort. All this is so that women can avoid stressing over little things, and reconize potentially hazzardous conditions.

If she was worried about it the day before, and still concerned the next day enough to ask the same question, then obviously she's was sitting around mulling it over and worrying about it every time the baby moved, which causes her to be tense, her blood pressure to spike, and her body to release stress hormones. All these things in turn effect the baby, its heart rate, its ability to grow, and its welfare.

Thats why someone would tell her to find something worthwhile to worry about.

well she is intitled to her view, albeit a little harsh. I don't think its worth getting upset to this extent tho. who cares what she thinks, if u post a question here u have to expect all sorts of answers, not just the ones u want to hear!!! I think u are getting a bit carried away!

I guess I missed seeing the person saying she is wasting her time... Maybe it just came out wrong.

Ok, just found it. Probably could have been more tactful, but I'm sure not meant quite as rough as it sounds.

If someone asks the same question over and over--or even twice--it's irritating. I would have told her the same things. What else was she looking for? Different answers? I don't think she was going to get anything different. Sure, showing concern for your baby is a great thing--but asking the same question over and over...what's the point?
