Use a spray bottle filled with soapy water to wet down a small area at a time. Make sure that the matress has air in it 1st and then look for small bubbles. When you find them, you have found a leak. Good Luck.

Yes, soapy water over the area works fine. BUT.....

I've had the same problems before, and I got a sharpie handy, and I wet my lips.

It sounds weird, but I swear by it. If you know roughly where the area is at, good. In that case, wet your lips, and feel for the air coming out with your lips. Trust me, it works. IF, you dont know where the spot is at, inflate the mattress, get a spray bottle with soapy water, and spray over certain control areas and be sure to pay attention to where you spray, and look and listen closey for any air leaks.

But keep the Sharpie out to mark your leak. Then dry off the area completely, and patch the hole. I prefer to use a bicycle tube repair kit in this kinda situation. And since its a mattress, who cares what it looks like.

Yes depending on the size of the mattress, Fill it with air and submerge it in water all the way, hold it down in the water, you should see little bubbles coming up from the water where the hole is..Hope this helped you..

i think for the most part everybody here is hitting the general idea, but lets try and make it a little easier for you.

fill a spray bottle with soapy water and spray one area at a time, usually about 2 feet square. keep doing this until you see bubbles and you have found the hole. this also will clean the air mattress and so you have killed two birds with one stone.

soapy wet wash cloth, whip over the mattress when full, and where there's bubbles there's a leak, wipe off soap and then ducktape it!
