Most of my celebrations will take place before the actual day. I'm participating in a charity event that I've been a part of off and on since I was a kid. I'm participating in a local Haunted Forest. I'm a guide for this event. My role is mainly a silent one (dressed all in black with a hooded cloak, carrying a candle-lit lantern) as I lead groups through a jack-o-lantern lit path through the woods at a park. There are different skits that take place on the path as well as a few unexpected events. It's great fun whether your scared or amused. I love my role the best out of them all. =)

I like to have all my friends round to dress up in scary costumes and find new ways to petrify the children that dare knock at my door. See I took the "trick or treat?" to mean "Is there a trick or treat behind the door that I knock on?" lol
I haven't decided on my window display for this year though

We're starting the party on a Friday before... Seeing a scary movie on a haunted tall ship; the next day (Saturday) is a halloween party at a friends' house; on Halloween proper we're probably gonna go see another married couple who have kids, and take them trick-or-treating. What to wear... Hmmm, I dunno, will probably be a pirate one day, a hippie the next, and an Egyptian on the third day. I love dressing up, can't get enough! :)

Drag my 3 year old daughter round the local houses begging for money or food (sweets). She'll be aptly dressed in her scariest witches outfit and I'll be saying all of the verses for her as she's too shy to speak in public. Then it's off home to count the takings, bath daughter, put her to bed, watch a scary movie, drink a glass or two of the coldest beer then bed.

Got it all planned. That's how spontaneous my life is these days!

Will stay at home hoping that it rains so that only the die-hard trick or treaters come round to annoy the dogs.
