Why do caucasian people (who are racist) always make the excuse that black and white people should not date and marry, because the children will have problems growing up? This isn't the 1960's; this is the 00's.

Because they're STOOOPID!!!
And because it give the guise of being compassionate for others when in truth they are not.
Have to add this for KISSFAN19 who answered further down and claims not to be a racist.
Tigers and lions have been known to mate and produce sterile offspring. A mule is another animal that is born sterile who's parents are a horse and a donkey. So if you are going to say "take a clue from nature" I think you better take a better look. Nature is telling me that if its a bad idea then the offspring would be born sterile. Since that is not the case with human beings I believe nature and GOD thinks its okay. If you ever want to find a racist they are usually the ones that say "I'm not a racist, but ..."

I live in the south and I am married to a black woman.... We have had more black males treat us poorly than anyone else. So you have it all wrong when you say "racist white people". I don't know where you are from but down here whitey is starting to accept it but 25% of the time when a brother sees a white dude with a black woman they try to pick a fight with him.. we'll that is if the black guy has 2 or 3 friends with him.

The fact is that individuals in interracial couples are attracted to each other for the same reasons that individuals in same-race couples are. They consistently state that they get married because they like and love each other.
On the other hand mixed race marriage need to work more then same race marriage to overcome cultural and ethnical differences and blend into one family unit.

Careful about the blanket statements about caucasians. I know several biracial couples who have children and they are great people and kids. Our children play together and don't even see a difference. We even live in a middle of the country red state, so don't try to smear us all with the same brush.

Well, cause some people still havent grown up, or have grown up racist...its not a perfect world, and its very frusterating...I know, cause the man I am with is half native, and he looks full...and I am a full fledged white woman...but we love each other..
Alot of the racism is due to fear of the unknown, or unatainable...or at times the hate of stupidity or takeover...I think at times racism is just a huge p*ssing contest....

What people do not seem to realize is that judging others for their races & creed is not their dicision to make. If God allows the children to be born from different races& creeds then they should accept that! God is our creator,He is the one that will judge! If it is the wrong thing to do then on judgement day everyone will find out! If the children were not meant to be born then they would not be!
