what is the relationship between philosophy and education?

philosophy is the love of wisdom.education is spreading the wisdom.. hence the philosophy of education is about the knowledge of spreading the wisdom it goes back to centuries about interrelation between education and philosophy.

First of all you have to be educated to even understand philosophy, and not to perceive it as stupidity. Or at least have some life experience. You can't teach philosophy to human beings until they have the ability to work with abstract notions.
To put it simple: if mathematics is considered the gymnastics for the brain, then my guess is that philosophy would be the ballet.
