Yes! This is my first pregnancy and I just got conformation from my OB last week... I am going for my first appointment and ultrasound on Monday, but the Doc. seems to think i may be around 13 or 14 weeks. I have had irregular periods for about 6 months but my doc said there was nothing wrong so when i missed the first month i didn't think anything of it... also i had almost no signs untill about 3-4 weeks ago when the mild nausea hit and sore breasts. So to answer... Yes it does happen

Yes it does happen. It all depends on your body and how soon it shows HCG. Or someone who isn't paying attention to there body signs wouldn't know til later. Or first pregnancies, not sure about signs. It is called Medical PRACTICE for a reason. They aren't always right. The Dr. told me there was no way I was pregnant with my son, gave me a pregnancy test and SURPRISE!!! Anything is possable...

my mother in law was 5 months pregnant with my husband before she knew it.

I think these days its impossible for a doctor not to find out before a month or so into the pregnancy, but for a woman who just isnt paying attention to her body, sure thing.

They do ultrasounds these days if you're really late and think you are pregnant. But if you dont go in and dont think you're pregnant then yeah, could could go into labor and not realize you're pregnant... i guess... lol.
