Are there people here who have a problem with jealousy?
For example one of your bestest buds has like the best voice I ever heard, is a deadly dancer and everyone just thinks she's awsome and cool.
It is stupid to say this but she makes me feel like a nobody and like I have no talent, I know she doesn't mean it and doesn't even mention it but I just can't help to be totaly jealous of her.
How can I beat this feeling?

She has one of those deep voices and she can just sing ANYTHING and make it sound heavenly.
Many times in one day people ask her to sing and she does.
I'm good at art but even thought I know that, it just doesn't make me feel better as all my life I wanted to be a great singer and dancer and nothing else.
My friends told me that I'm good at singing but I'm nothing compared to her.
I wish I could at least dance well but I don't.
She is my good friend and I know she is not trying to make me jealous.
Today she said , You can't dance, you can't sing, what can you do?
I don't know weather she was joking or not but it hurt me badly.
I replied to her
Why are all the jerks born with so many talents.
it still didn't make me feel good

The only way is to give the whole situation to God. He is the only one who can give you peace over this thing called jealousy! The devil wants you to be jealous of others and that is how he tears up relationships. I know, cause I went through the same thing.

I think it's more envy than jealousy. Do you wish that you were exactly like her - or anyone else? I bet you have talents that you haven't explored yet. I used to envy a girl in the choir because she was always so damn perfect - a natural beauty, her clothes were just SO, long, naturally wavy hair and a gorgeous complexion - not to mention a voice like an angel. Probably something similar to your situation. But see, she was too perfect, so although [she naturally had a perfect personality] she was well liked, I was the one the boys teased, and I was the one who had fun, while she was busy keeping up her image. I started to feel sorry for her. I saw her later on in years, and she looked dowdy, had nothing going for her, and did nothing with her wonderful talent. As they say, time not only heals everything, it also changes everything. Don't beat yourself up.

I had a friend who was jealous of my talents. She use to cry every time I would win a karaoke contest. I felt really bad but there was nothing I could do.
You need to find yourself and your own interests of what you would enjoy doing. You're probably not the only one who is jealous of your friend. This is a natural feeling.
Try yourself. Find out what you can do and make the best of it.
Right now, this is her time to shine, but yours is coming soon too.

It's natural to be jealous of somebody. It's okay to be envious of her as long as u don't start being horrible to her and slagging her off behind her back. You've probably got an incredible talent but u just need to find it. You should admire her instead of feeling jealous but it's okay to be a little bit jealous of ur friend.

well since it is your best bud, you should be happy for her. and to beat the feeling, maybe you can be good at something yourself. but don't be jealous. jealousy isnt a good thing.

ive been there before but trust me i am sure you are better at one or two things then what she is. If she makes you feel like a no body she might not be that great of friend anyway.
