why is it that wen a woman sleeps around she is called a s**t or a slag but wen a guy dose it he is told he is a stud or his mates reply by saying wll done mate

Its stupid really and quite unfair, if a women chooses to be a player then fair enough it doesnt mean she's a slag. Its her choice to sleep around and if she's happy then fair play to her, if girls get called sluts and slags then so should guys who do the same. Guys are usually worst for sleeping around anyway so they should be the ones getting the name calling. Its just the way other guys see it i suppose. They should be called male sluts to make it fair

A number of reasons; over millions of years of evolution, a males who has fathered lots of children (often by many females) has generally been successful in continuing his genetic line, whereas females that have successfully maintained a single mate that stayed to help rear the children has had the most success continuing hers, so there is a biological as well as cultural reason for people to treat each type of behaviour as "best" in each case.

Also, ever since the times when men went hunting and women stayed home, "predatory" behaviour has been seen as a positive trait in men, but not so much in women. There are many other reasons, most of which are also evolutionary.

Sorry to dig into ancient history for this answer, but the reasons really do go that far back!

It is a sort of validation for men to spread their seed far and wide.

They can't help it. Nature designed them that way.

Women on the other hand are supposed to go for the male who will provide them with the best chance of creating a strong, healthy and intelligent baby.

When a woman sleeps around she is denigrating every man's possibility of being the alpha male.She is saying that their seed wasn't good enough for her.

Hence she has to be put back down in her place in order for the alpha male myth to continue.

And regardless of how men may suck up to who they see as the alpha male; they secretly want to castrate him.

Yeah, it's pretty shyte.

I think it stems from human (caveman) psychology - men try to impregnate as many women as they can (well done mate, that's the ninth one today!), whereas women always try to stick with the alpha male (therefore she's a sl*t if she sleeps with more than one fella).
