Okay this is a difficult question to word so stick with me. I have heard it said that a person can know they are sane if they are able to ask themself 'Am I crazy?' because someone who is crazy would never question if they were or not. Now, knowing the logic of that, what if someone who was crazy was privy to the same knowledge?...what if a crazy person said 'Am I crazy...oh wait I can't be if I asked myself that'...right? So using that logic, if you ask yourself that question does it ensure that you're sane, or just prove that you're a smart crazy person?

A person who is insane has a psychosis which means he cannot understand that his aberrant behavior is aberrant, therefore it not possible for him to question his actions. So as long as you question your behavior, you're probably sane.

Here's my theory. Every human being on the face of the planet is insane. We're just delusional as well. None of us act on a purely rational basis, but we want to think we do.

I think it is not just questioning about being crazy, it is realizing that you are crazy, then you are no longer crazy at the moment of realization.
