My current boyfriend used to be engaged to this girl when he was like 20. They broke up like 2 months later. He is now 26 and doesn't talk to her anymore, and wants nothing to do with her. However, she keeps calling his parents, and has become BEST friends with his sister since they broke up 6 years ago!! His parents don't want to be mean, so whenever she calls they talk to her, and she comes over to their house sometimes and has dinner, etc...Is this normal??? I've never done it with any of my exes families...If its over, its over...get over it and move on...right??

i had that same exact problem,my husband was married to his ex for 6 yrs,and now they're divorced, and is married to me.and his ex will always go my my in laws every sunday, spend nights, and do alot of stuff with them, although my hubby is not around there when she is.if they had kids together i can understand that, but they don't.so i called up my in laws and i told them i wasn't happy about it.i keep arguing with my hubby about it,amnd he called up his family and told them that we were having problem with his ex still coming there.i told him either she stops or i goes.i even told his family,if she continues t means u don't care about me.and as of now i heard she don't go there no more.

If they were close and together for awhile, it's normal for her to remain friends with the parents. Sometimes when you are dating someone you become close to other members of their family. When you break up, you don't have to break up with the whole family.
