Sounds like your thermostat contacts are welded closed. If turning the dial to "off" and then after a few minutes turning the thermostat to its normal position doesn't do the trick then you'll have to replace the thermostat.

Some refridgerators have two temperature settings, one for the fridge and one for the freezer. Sometimes, if you have the freezer setting too cold, it will make your fridge section cool too much (because after all, there is only 1 cooling unit of the appliance, and when the freezer calls for cooling, the fridge will also get some cooling too).
So try playing with both thermostats, this may fix the problem, or at least worth a try before you call the reapir man. Remember, it will take 24 or more hours for the new settings to "settle out" after making a change, you have to be patient.
