No. Lawyer does not help in COMMISSION of a crime -- then he would be a criminal as well. For example if you knowingly help a murderer leave the scene of the crime -- you are guilty of aiding and abetting.
A Lawyer just helps the defendant against a legal complaint.

Yes, when the person helps to plan the crime. But only when he knows about that.
