If humans had eyes as big as dinner pates, our visual powers would be improved in two ways:

Better resolving power - we could see finer detail
Better light gathering power - we could see fainter objects
B)
Resolution would not necessarily be any better
It wouldn't change the range of wavelengths we can detect
c)
Bigger 'scopes have better resolving power and better light gathering power

A)We could see farther
We could see with less light.
B) We would still have simple binocular vision, ...
c) They can see fine with very little light input, they can see details from far away.
