another "am I pregnant" question?

I had my second baby 5 months ago, and breastfed until she was 3 or 4 months. almost 2 months after weaning, i havent started my period.

With my 1st child i nursed for 6 months, but my period started regularly coming after 2 months. i know some women do, some dont, get periods during breastfeeding.

here's the weird thing.... last month i had light bleeding and thought my period was starting, but it never really got going. over a month later...nothing. sounds like implantation bleeding right?

i had 2 negative pregnancy tests. a few days ago. my husband thinks im crazy for thinking im pregnant. (we haven't been trying). are there any circumstances that are likely to yield a false negative? it seems like my body should have returned to normal by now.

oh, and my last 2 pregnancies were really easy, and symptomless at the beginning. i never would have known i was pregnant either time with out my tests.

I don't know. I breast fed all of my kids but I never had to worry am I pregnant or not. It didnt matter. My husband and I have 5 kids and I am now fixed. We wanted a big family so I never stressed out about it. My periods came after nursing except 1 time and my milk dried up so I swtched to bottles and went to the Doc. I was pregnant with my 2nd child. Hope this helps.

I Think that I would make an appointment with my OB if I were you. is does sound like implantation bleeding but I really am not sure. I had no problem with getting my monthly period while I was breastfeeding. When I got pregnant with my son I had stopped breastfeeding my daughter about 2 months prior and I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 8 weeks along. ( I got 3 False Negatives around week 5) It wasn't until I missed another period when I found out I was pregnant.
