True Jehovah's Witnesses do not marry outside of their faith.

(Exodus 23:32) You are not to conclude a [marriage or other] covenant with them or their gods.

(Deuteronomy 7:3) And you must form no marriage alliance with [unbelievers]. Your daughter you must not give to his son, and his daughter you must not take for your son.

(1 Corinthians 7:39) She is free to be married to whom she wants, only in the Lord.

(Nehemiah 13:25) You should not give your daughters to [the unbeliever's] sons, and you should not accept any of their daughters for your sons or yourselves.

(2 Corinthians 6:14) Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers.

If I was planning on marriage, I'd find a mate who is older than 17.

At 17 a person doesn't really know who they are, let alone who they will be in 5 to 10 years.

Second, If her parents didn't like you because you were to tall, to short then I'd say, go for it. (when the one in question gets old enough to make that kind of commitment.

But religion is a life changing directing force on a person's life.

What will you do if they start taking their religion serious?

Can you stay home alone three days a week?

Can you face your neighbors because your spouse is knocking on their door?

Can you go without holidays?

I'd recommend thinking real hard about what you really want.
