I am fixing to prepare to take the CLEP exam for American Goverment. I will be purchasing a study guide online to help me with this. Does anyone else have any suggestions to help me pass this exam?

Don't take the CLEP exam--sign up for a course and actually learn something during the process! It takes time to learn stuff and let it sink in. Whatever you learn cramming for this test will be lost as soon as you take it.

to pass the exam u want to be very confident first,next u must be capable to study all sort of questions over there& dont be tensed by seeing ur question paper ok
