Just ask dairy farmers in Denmark after the whole Muhammed cartoon/freedom of speech drama. If their government had not tried to soothe that whole situation, many dairy farmers would have lost their livelihoods, and had to sign on for benefits.

In UK the amount of red tape makes running a small business a nightmare.
Its not surprising that people try to avoid it by working for cash and not registering properly as they are supposed to.
