Is there a Japanese (translated to English) phone book directory or a Japan people search directory I could use? If so I would gladly apprciate it. The last name of the family is Nagayo/ and I recall that my mom say's the name of the sons were Shenji and Shieki. If you are from Japan or know a way that I can contact this family please, please let me know. It's very important to me to help my mom. Thanks.

The name of the family is kind of rare here in Japan but you really need to know what city they lived in. When you find out, it is possible to call information in Japan. They do have English speaking operators (though not available all the time). Find out what the number is for information in Japan and call. When you get a Japanese operator, just keep asking if they speak english and they will transfer you...hopefully.
Also realize that even though you know the family name, there might be two or three people with that number in the city. You may have to copy down several numbers and call them all till you find the right one....hopefully your moms friend speaks english.
