The American government goes beyond the president. The president is just the face, the scapegoat, someone to blame when things are not going OK. What do you think?

Absolutely! The nameless, faceless sub-humans who really control this country simply dangle Bush by his strings and tell him what to do, how to act, and what to say.
It's the wealthy elitists, special interest groups, lobbyists, oil companies, political influential, military-industrial complex and big business interests that tell the government what to do.
Bush isn't intelligent enough to tie his own shows. When the 'terrorist attack' occurred on 9-11-01, Bush handlers certainly knew about it (or collaborated in it). But they intentionally didn't tell Bush, knowing that his 'deer-in-the-headlights' look would give away their secret. So they kept him in the dark, and that's why he had no clue what to do when told about it in a school room full of elementary students.
Bush is the perfect puppet: pompous, arrogant, spoiled rich kid who thinks he's superior to anyone else. In truth, he's stupid, cowardly, incompetent, arrogant, moronic, and dullardly. -RKO-

No more than any other president , only he doesn't have the
public speaking under control as well. Congress is part of the
deal too . Bush is just a son of the Man that wanted to even up
so he used his Son sometimes I feel sorry for him , almost like he would have wanted to tell pop that he didn;t want to be the president , He had no real place there it was dear old dad that
was the motivation not the what the country needed

Of course - I'm sure Keith Olbermann has a GWB puppet to use on his show (which I love). BTW, I've heard Dick Cheney referred to as "Bush's insurance policy"! Dan Quayle did the same service for the first Bush - nobody plots to remove the president when the VP is such a disaster.

I don't blame Bush.

I blame the puppets that voted for him.

It's funny, but Bush has not yet been blamed for one bloody thing.

The government is still blaming Clinton for everything even though the "Shrub" has been in office for 6 years.

Gee - I guess FDR's "The Buck Stops Here" desk placque has left the building.

No. I really think republicans have a great deal of respect for this man, who seem to me like he wouldn't be president were it not for his father. He seemingly likes YES men ONLY and is a bit uninformed about how REAL, non billionares live and what its like to have to make it from actuall poverty or even be the working poor, like a lot of us out there.

I wouldn't insult a puppet.

The world likes and enjoys puppets at least.
