I was adopted at birth and never knew my birth parents. All i know about them is that the father ran off and my birth mother was alone and only 17. So yes i am glad i was adopted, i grew up with wonderful parents that treated me as their own blood! i grew up with a sister who also was adopted and she agrees with me all the way. We were asked all throughout growing up if we wanted to b with our birth parents and both of us would rather not. Im very glad my birth mother put me up for adoption, she was only 17 and would have been a single mother, highschool drop out, with no job. I am blessed she gave birth to me and even more blessed she decided to put me up for adoption. Now.... i will say i am interested in maybe finding her one day and meeting her, to say thankyou for giving me life and a good one!!

I was adopted at 2 months old. I have since met my biological family. I will say that it was the biggest and most wondeful blessing of my life to have been given up for adoption. As a child I didn't understand as much, but as an adult - I realize the impact my bio-mom had on my life. I ended up with the MOST AMAZING parents and life. I am so grateful. I know that not everyone's story turned out this way, but mine certainly did.

Not only that, but now knowing my bio family .... they are nice people, but I would be SO sad to have not had my own parents that raised me. It was absolutely the best decision she could have EVER done for me.
