My favourite race is men because i really like Aragorn, he is such a great, strong character and i know that Viggo Mortensen actually put his heart and his pain into making some of the scenes. I also sort of like Boromir because his father always betters him instead of Faramir but Boromir understands how Faramir feels and has faith in him. I feel really sorry for Faramir because his dad Denethor doesnt believe in him.
I like all the characters even the Bad guys because they are amazing and interesting. I also love how Legolas has so much power, he can see for miles and his skill with a bow is unmatchable. I also love all the hobbits because they have so much courage and they are all so funny expecially Merry and Pippin. But my all time favourite character is Aragorn. He will always be my king.

Well, I love the Elves. Tolkien's entire mythology is concerned with the Elves, the imortal firstborn of Middle-Earth. They're exploits and endeavors shaped the history of Middle-Earth, and often Arda, and set the stage for the triumphant if bittersweet ending of the 3rd Age. They were the primary players in Arda's past. Of them, I'd have to say Earendil or his son Elrond are my favorites.
However, I also find the wizards facinating. The fact that they gave up their ethereal Maiar being to take on the mantle of flesh and blood (if still retaining immortality) in order to aid Middle-Earth makes them wonderful characters, for both their strength and compassion. And they played very major parts in the War of the Ring. Saruman against Gandalf was a very interesting and riviting subplot. Of course, Gandalf is my favorite wizard; without him Sauron never would have been defeated, so key was the part he played in the War of the Ring.

Best Character is Tom Bombadil, who has no known race. He didn't appear in the movies, but Treebeard has some of his lines from the book. He is always singing in rhyme and bringing joy to all things. He says he has been there since the beginning and the ring has no affect on him.

I've always wanted to live in a Hobbit hole overlooking my home town. After seeing the movies I thought Yes that is exactly what I want.

I think all the races had their good qualities, but the Hobbits lived in their own idyllic world. I am like Sam. I would love to visit the Elves and then come home to my family.

i do no longer quite have a everyday - love em' all x) although I do love Frodo, extra so in the fellowship than the different 2, because of the fact the hoop hadn't yet 'taken carry' of him then. He replaced into prepared to pass on the impossible activity of destroying the single ring for the sake of center Earth - Frodo! A tiny hobbit who got here from the inconspicuous Shire. (although in the 2nd and third one he began to ever so incredibly get on my nerves :/ - did no longer like how he taken care of Sam :( {by using no fault of his own strategies you} I additionally quite like Faramir (in accordance to the flicks - have not study the 2nd and third e book) and that i admire the completed 'Legolas, Gimli, Aragorn' trio - notably Legolas and Gimli, they are hilarious mutually haha BQ: almost definitely Hobbits! I envy the simplicity of their lives - plus the Shire seems this way of wonderful and non violent place to stay.

My favorite race would be Men. We are men, after all, and we can relate to our world the greed, power and corruption that is portrayed in the movies.

My favorite human character is King Theoden of Rohan. I see him as the most valiant of all characters in the film. He's a very inspirational leader. Of course, this is after his hold spell is released by Gandalf.

I'd have to say Treebeard of the Ents. The film did such a fantastic job of depciting them, both visually and in terms of their crusty, ancient personality. His initial reaction to Merry & Pippin (thinking they were misshapen Orcs) was priceless.
