I had purchased many chenille throw pillows for my bed; i noticed that the stuffing on the inside was beginning to be worn and in bunchs after a while. Can anyone tell me if they can be laundered in the washing machine? and if so, how can you maintain the shape after washing?

what are they stuffed with? if poly you can wash on gentle with mild soap in cold water - if you air dry for most until they're damp throw them in the dryer with a 'clean' sneaker and cotton towel (that won't pill) rapped around the sneaker to beat it/fluff it...on air dry...
