As a Buddhist, all life is sacred. If it were my computer screen I would put the spider somewhere safe (like in my shed).

I think it is better to take a sheet of paper and gently put it under her feet and then carry her on the paper to the garden or balcony, or somewhere with plants. You will eventually clean the computer or she might move somewhere around the desk where she'll get squashed if she stays there.

i say move him somewhere safe where no one will harm him..
i will tell you one day..
i saw a spider at work.. i was pretty busy so i didn't have time to stop and save him.. (i usually always pick them up and move them to a quiet location where they won't be in anyones way.. so they won't get squished)
anyways when i walked by a little later on that day someone had squished him.. he was dead on the floor.. and i feel guitly about it still! i should have taken that five minutes to move him.. and he'd be alive a bit longer anyways..
so save him or feel the guilt forever

Leave it, it can be your pet. I have a pet spider that lives on the wing mirror of my car. He goes everywhere with me. He has a web from the mirror to the car and lives behind the mirror in the casing. I have named him Alfred!

I have 2 of them in a web on my bathroom sink. Maybe that would be a safe place for him.

Put a glass over it, then slide a paper under the glass so he can`t escape and you can put him outside.
