Very much based in Survival mode......killing animals to feed family.....earning $ to support family....and just accepting things for what they are....not questioning them

It was so slow...I remember pounding away on a typewriter and having to use lots of wite-out!

simpler and more friendly where women were home actually talking to the neighbors
