Not only is it for real... I had to dress up like a friggin chicken soup can in a play in school when I was little (I am quite old now too) and everyone had to sing it! Even in like the 2nd or 3rd grade, we all knew how very lame it was, but there was the freaking teacher tapping her lame feet and humming along all excited to have successfully made us all look like little retards! and just... well... YUCK!
Whew... What a shitty memory that was!
