Brittany Spears ok voice, Ashlee Simpson, Lindsey Lohan, Brad Pitt, Ben Affleck......lot of exposure in the tabloids but don't deliver the goods. Why is anyone spending money for people with looks and no talent...I don't get it. There worth millions.

Brittany Spears was riding on her mousekateer career. Ashlee was riding on Jessica's coattails (and I think she is more talented than Jess anyway). Lindsey Lohan was a "child star". Brad Pitt is handsome and appealing but average in the acting department. Ben Affleck - no idea why he is where he is - maybe he had a deal with Matt Damon (the better actor). And there are many more you haven't mentioned. BOTTOM LINE: You need to find an agent that will promote you - regardless of your lack of talent. The only way to support the talented is to only go to their movies, concerts, etc......

looks are more important than skill and talent.
Even in corperate america.
The hot ones gets the job over the skilled ones,
And with police.
the girl gets a warning, as to where an ugly girl and the boys get the full extent of the law.

I know exactly how you feel. I'm 20 years old and I prefer the older actor vs. the newbies* Like John Travolta, Steve Martin, Andy Garcia, Jim Carrey, just to name a few. Where has all the talent gone???

Actually,the majority of people are interested in appearance,the things (dates,ads etc.) celebrities do and basically gossip! So there is obviously no point wondering why do they make a lot of money because,although they don't deserve the fame they have.

it been said the more attrative you are the better you succeed which kind of sucks but is kind of true that 's why you need either a good personality, brains, body, or sence of humor whatever works. life is like that not ever body gets what they rightfully deserve, atleast not at first maybe.
