If it could be done, I think Jesus would have done it while he was here instead of telling us that his Kingdom is not of this world.
But, if you want to make things better here. He did give some good suggestions. Love your neighbor was among the top two.

I smile at people. I sometimes let my students hand in late work with no penalty. Really though, I love life and I love living in this country and having the freedom, opportunity and good health that let me climb the mountains and hike the lowlands. It really is already a Heaven on and of the Earth.

If you mean Heaven on Earth, then you are a little too late. Nirvana, or the perfect society, existed back when the only people in North America were the nomadic ancestors of the American Indians. They had plenty of resources, zero polution, no greed or corruption. They raised their families, taught their children and populated the Americas. As soon as the Europeans arrived, Nirvana ceased to exist.
