Example: Harrison Ford - Star Wars and Indiana Jones Trilogies..... Don't really know how many more there are, I've got five more at the moment. Would be interested to see what you guys can come up with.

Seems I didn't explain the question correctly, The actor/actress must have appeared in all three of the trilogies or three of the six (in the case of Star Wars). They must have also appeared in more than one set of trilogies ie. Harrison Ford appeared in Star Wars AND the Indiana Jones Trilogies.

Samuel L Jackson was in the Star Wars prequels and the first Jurrasic Park film. It's debatable though whether Star Wars is a trilogy, and wasn't the Lord of the Rings one film split into three?

Well,
Orlando Bloom - LOTR and Pirates Trilogy
Mike Myers- Austin Powers and Shrek (the Third to be released next May)
Matt Damon- Bourne Trilogy (third comes out next August) and Ocean's Trilogy (third released next June)

Can't think of any actress, not many do trilogies. Good question, but really hard.

Ian McKellan - Lord of the Rings and X-Men

Sylvester Stallone: Rambo and Rocky (even though there are too many of them to count)

Arnold Swartzenegger. Terminator and the Conan the Barbarian trilogy (if you count Red Sonja)

Christopher Lloyd -- Back to the Future and Addams family

Orlando Bloom Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Carribean

Mike Myers - Austin Powers and Shrek (3rd movie coming out next year)

Okay that's it I am all out now. :-)

I think most people are misunderstanding the question and just naming actors that have been in *a* trilogy....

However, I'm going to feed off the poster who said Ian McKellan and ride their coattails for a minute:
Patrick Stewart: Star Trek movies (does that count as a trilogy though?) and the X-Men trilogy.

I could be wrong though...I think that Star Trek thing may not be a trilogy and therefore could disqualify Mr. Stewart...
