95 Honda Civic Coilovers

Look on ebay for a coil over kit by drop zone, they are very similar to skunk 2 and I have installed them on 2 civics a 94 civic hatch and a 99 si and they work great and the nice thing is that they are adjustable in height so you can lower or raise the car up to 4", but if you are wanting to lower it a lot then you may want to get new struts too because the stock ones will blow if you lower it too much, but stock ones should be fine for an inch or two.

The easiest way to lower a Honda would be to cut the springs. You can jack the car up and have someone step on the tire and stick a die grinder in between and cu t a spring or two. but just make sure to always cut from the bottom. I have done this to my car. and it still drives nice. The next two options would be to either by drop springs or coil overs. The best out of the two would be coil overs due to you can adjust the height of the car. While the drop spring you would have to replace the springs if you would like it to stock height. My option would be to buy coil overs that way you can always adjust your height and it would be cheaper in the end. also the ride quality is not on the spring but the shocks. when the shocks goes the quality of the ride goes. it get more bouncer, you can feel the pot holes more, etc.

It's pretty straightforward - but I would suggest either picking up a manual for it, or search online for instructions - there are tons of sites with pictures and everything. It's 1 million times easier if you are the one that took it apart, but unfortunately homeboy screwed the pooch on that one. It can really only go together one way - so it should be hard to mess up (though in my experience - anything can be messed up).

Sorry, but thats the way. If you cut the springs (like some others do), you will make the car unstable because the spring rate will be lowered and won't be able to handle the cars weight (meaning you'll lose control and/or bottom out). Best advice? Ebay to buy and a weekend to install with a friend.

Buy the springs, they are only about $100 and come with directions, however your car will ride like crap until you upgrade your suspension. Just do me a favor and don't put a stupid wing on the back of your car until you can seriously go about 170mph. honda's top out at 105 unless you change the majority of the engine computer system. My tiburon tops out at 174mph becuase i made the changes, and i still refuse to get a wing.

you just need to buy 4 aftermarket springs which will cost you around $115 go with TIEN S-TECH. but if you dont want to pay that $115 then cut you factory springs and drop it few inches but you will not get comfortable ride by doing this. so go with aftermarket springs for better ride and handling. you may wanna replace the struts later on when you have money!

Well the easiest way would be to heat the springs up but I wouldn't recommend it the ride is too roughj.
The best way is to use coilovers because you can adjust the ride height from slammed to stock.

Put clamps on the springs; smaller tires can help a little, but not worth it.
