The formulas everyone teaches are confusing because you have to remember whether to add/subtract the 32 before or after multiplying...it's different depending on which way you're converting.

Here's a neat method I learned many years ago:

1. Start with a temperature in F or C
2. Add 40
3. Multiply by 9/5 (converting C to F) OR multiply by 5/9 (converting F to C)
4. Subtract 40

That's it. The only thing you need to remember is which fraction to use in multiplying.

Here's an example:

Convert 100 degrees C to F.

100 + 40= 140

140 (9/5) = 252

252 - 40 = 212 degrees F

Much easier, yes?

To convert degrees celcius to degrees fahrenheit,

Degree celcius=5/9(degrees fahrenheit-32)
(for eg. if c=100,then degrees fahrenheit=212.)

Degrees fahrenheit=Degree celcius*9/5 +32
(IF C=100,THEN
F=(9/5 x 100) + 32
F=180+32
F=212)

If you want an online conversion tool try this
http://www.stabb.com/tools/convert.html

Or if you want to do it yurself

Tc = (5/9)*(Tf-32); Tc = temperature in degrees Celsius, Tf = temperature in degrees Fahrenheit

°C = (°F- 32)/1.8
where:
°C = Celsius degrees
°F = Fahrenheit degrees

That´s it!

Good luck!
