Talk to your doctor about either changing your medication outright or at least cutting down on the dosage.
Toprol is a beta blocker, and beta blockers can have an effect on erectile function in any man. See:
http://www.cardiologychannel.com/hypertension/pharm.shtml
Then read down to the section on beta blockers.
Good luck. I am sure a visit to your doctor will solve the problem.

I used to have problem getting a full erection before. I have managed to solve this problem by changing my life-stye. First, i stop eating meat altogether. I also use less salt, oil and suger. i eat more vegetables (raw). Secondly, I do half hour exercise every morning. Thirdly, I sleep early (10pm) and wake up at 6pm. 8 hours of sleep. And lastly drink a small cup of red wine before going to bed. Now i feel like i am only 40 years old. Actually i am 60. No kidding! Try this- you have nothing to lose but a lot to gain. Goodluck.

unfortunately, most blood pressure medications impact the BIG GUY. you might want to speak with your doctor regarding this or start using viagra, cialis, or levitra. they, too, amy be tricky because they sometimes interfere with blood pressure medications.
try using a penis pump. this elongates your penis into a stiff, firm erection. by placing a ring at the base of your penis, the erection should last long enough for the completion of a satisfying sexual experience.
been there, done this. it works. good luck!

Eating lots of leafy greens, whole grains, oysters, watermelon, and blueberries (most any fruit will work, really) will help you give your body all that it needs to improve the quality of your erections, while cutting out processed foods, cigarettes and alcohol will provide further benefits. Read here https://tr.im/ErectileDysfunctionTreatments
Add in a healthy dose of exercise at least three times per week, and you’re well on your way to better sexual health!

It helps to control the blood flow not only of your heart but all throughout your body. So, it is also controlling how much blood flows to the penis. Once your body gets used to the medication, it will taper off and things will get back to normal to some degree. Your best bet is to make some serious health lifestyle changes to make it possible to maybe get off the medication or reduce your dosage. Reduce your sodium, fat, and bad cholesterol intake and get regular cardio exercise. This will help tremendously.

Talk with your Dr. You might benefit from changing to another medication. This side effects from this one might also pass after a few months. If you continue to have problems don't hesitate to try Viagra or any of the other same type drugs. If you can get sexually aroused, they will definitely help. BTW are you on any other meds? If so they might also be contributing to your problem

Please speak to your doctor about this. It is VERY common and that's why they've come up with the "little blue pill" and other little pills. The blood pressure meds restrict blood flow to your penis which results in the problem. Your doctor should be able to clear this up in a jiffy.
DO NOT be embarrassed. Just say E.D. and what can he/she do to help you out and you and your mate will be much happier in that department.
I've been on the other "end", and believe me, it's not fun for us, either.
Don't be embarrassed - go for the little blue pill... Your mate will thank you - you'll be her hero!!
