It depends on who you are meeting and why? Most times you can’t learn anything by looking at a person. Looks can be deceptive or easily manipulated to mislead the other person. Talking / listening to a person can tell you far more, not what he / she has to say but what he / she answers. However, to answer your question I would look into the eyes…the eyes are the windows of the soul. I would also try to fathom if the person is worth my while to meet again.

Eyes and handshake. I like to watch their eyes when they talk to see which way they move and if they look like they are honest, and if their handshake is strong and close or just one of those quick hand shakes.

Get to know their personality, and see how much they have in common with you, or if you share similar interests. Also, see how they treat you, and how they act with others. Then, finally, see if he or she is good looking!
