Capitol (not to be confused with capital) is a set of buildings in which a legislature meets. The French Parliament (French: Parlement francais) or Parliament of France is the deliberative and legislative branch (parliament) of the Government of France. So French capitol is the place where French Parliament meets. The current parliamentary system in France is bicameral, and the Parliament is composed of: - The upper house (chambre haute), which is the French Senate (Senat) - The lower house (chambre basse), which is the French National Assembly (Assemblee nationale); the Assembly is the pre-eminent body. Each house conducts legislative sessions at a separate location: - The Palais du Luxembourg for the Senate - The Palais Bourbon for the National Assembly Each house has its own regulations and rules of procedure. However, they may occasionally meet as a single house, the French Congress (Congres du Parlement francais), convened at the Chateau de Versailles, to revise and amend the Constitution of France.

the capitAl of France is Paris.
the equivalent of 'the Capitol" in France, is "l'Assemblée Nationale", the National Assembly settles in "le Palais Bourbon" which is on the banks of the Seine in Paris !
So this means the French CapitOl in is the French CapitAl !!!;-)
and finally
the "place du CapitolE" takes place is "la ville rose" : Toulouse !!! ;-)
