For the 3 days I have felt really ill and I can't think of what it could be. I feel like i'm run down, my body is so weak I'm in bed nearly all day my head is constantly throbbing, and my eyes are sore and start watering when they are open. I bought a tonic to see if it made me any better but I feel worse. Can anyone suggest anything, I know I should go to doctors but I cant find the energy to get there.

It sounds like you have infection in your sinuses. That will make your head throb and your eyes watering sounds like allergy. Probably just a cold I would take me some aspirins for the head ache and benadryl or something like that for the eyes watering drink plenty of water, orange juice and get some rest. And if you don't get better in a day or two I would get up and go to the doctor so they can check you out and maybe put you on some antibodies.

If your symptoms do not improve within today you need to call a none emergency number and get help. It does sound like the flu virus and unfortunatley there isn't much you can do except rest and drink plenty of liquids to stay hydrated. Take ibuprofen for the aches and pains and put a warm washcloth on your eyes to help with the watering.

Hope you feel better soon!

Most likely to be 'flu. If you have a temperature you can sponge yourself with tepid water. Paracetamol is good because it is a painkiller and it keeeps the temperature down. Rest, plenty of water and when you are up to it , a bit of fresh air.
Try to get up for a little while because lying in bed is not good for you, it can lead to chest infection or deep vein thrombosis. Hope you feel better soon

Take ibuprofen or Tylenol for the aches, pains and fever if you have one. Put a warm washcloth on your eyes to help with the watering. And do not try walking around to much. Hope this works for you.

You could possibly have the flu my friend but if you cannot get to a doctor the best suggestion I have for you is too get someone to ring for a home visit to be on the safe side.

Until you get to the doctor, eat some blue cheese if you aren't allergic to penicillin, boil and drink some oregano, thyme, or marjoram which have antibiotic properties. and megadose on vitamin C. Also make sure you are eating healthy. Starve a fever; feed a cold.

Over work and/or stress?

Due on your period?

Have you been abroad recently and could have caught a disease? If you have been away get to the docs pretty quick.

Worry about money/family?

Maybe it's just flu but i think after 3 days it's time to see you doc.

if you can't open your eyes, how did you work on computer to post your message. I guess you either watch a lot of TV or spend let of time on computer.
My suggestion would be to drink a lot of water.. eat fresh food and go out for a walk in green.. see a nice lovely sun set.. brids flying.. a lake .. etc ...you'll be absolutely fine..

Patience and bed-rest. 3 days isn't long for a virus or whatever it is you've picked up. Plenty of vitamin C and plenty of fluids would help. Think positive; your body is already fighting on your behalf.
