Hate to say it, but it could possibly be a new Australian group called Girlband. They've just had a "reality" type TV series about the formation of the group, their recording sessions, etc. They have a different song on the charts here in Australia at the moment, but I know they have recorded a version of "Sweet Dreams".

I presume you mean the girl group from Iceland Nylon who supported Westlife and McFly at their concerts.
They sung Sweet Dreams and very well too!
