Ravens are larger and have grey base to body feathers while crows have a white base to the black body feathers. Ravens like the country while crows prefer the city.

There is a slight difference. A common Raven comes from the species corvas corax. A common crow comes from the species corvas brachyrhyncho. Other than that there physical appearance is pretty much the same.

I think that a raven is a solitary bird that lives alone where as a crow lives in groups. I also think that a raven might be bigger and a hunts for it's food,where as a crow is smaller and scavenges for it's food.

Crows are smaller and have white patches on their belly and wings.
Ravens are a bit bigger, and are blue black all over.
They are like cousins to each other.
