We started a war terrible war in Iraq. (Over 655,000 innocents were killed by our hands. I call them innocents because they did nothing to the United States before we invaded and occupied their county.)
It also looks like we might be fixin to start a war in Iran. (We sent war ships. It's also one of the only ways that the Republicans are going to win the next election. So be waiting for a convenient reason to attack to pop up in the coming weeks.)
Lets see what else... We're probabily going to bulid a wall across the Mexican border, iron curtain style. The president wants to suspend the right of American citizens to fair trials. We torture people. The president also wants the right to torture American citizens... including children...
I remember feeling proud of the United States when I was a kid. Now I am ashamed. How can you not be. This isn't what people fought and died for in the past.
There are some people who will support to the end though.

We have become the biggest terrorist nation on earth under the direction of the man that would be dictator. We need to elect democrats this November to restore checks and balance to the system in order to stop this criminal from damaging the United States any farther.

Iraq, the United States and the World are safer today because we chose, with DOZENS of other nations, to remove an evil dictator acting as the school yard bully in the Middle East. The President, the Generals, the Pentagon, even Democrats in the Senate and Congress never said it was going to be quick or easy. We walk away now and we lose, Iraq loses and the World loses.
Republicans are right on defeating terrorism, and the left is wrong in wanting to run and hide from danger and take up the disastrous policies of appeasement and weakness that defined the Carter Administration. Americans should never again face a 444-day hostage crisis in Iran or an energy policy which leads to gasoline rationing. The United Nations' speeches of Iran's Ahmadinejad and Venezuela's Chavez are reminders of how much they hate us and how much they are determined to defeat us. If every American understood the consequences of losing to the terrorists, the Democrats would lose seats this November.
You conjure up images of Communism to make your point against protecting our borders - you are AGAIN on the wrong side of history and on the wrong side of what most Americans in this country want.

At no point have Americans - legal citizens of our country, entitled and privileged to have the full protections of the Constitution of the United States of American - been denied the right to a fair and just trial. If you are referring to war criminals and terrorists that bear no uniform of any other nation's military - then you are truly delusional if you believe they should have the same rights as an American citizen under OUR Constitution. NO American citizen (nor their children) has been tortured or threatened to be tortured. That claim is absurd! Your assertions are biased, unsubstantiated and patently false. Playing Jessica Simpson or the Beastie Boys at high volumes, keeping the temperatures low, keeping the lights on - these things are not torture. We do NOT waterboard, behead or rape our prisoners - that my friend is actual torture. Our enemies will continue to torture our soldiers, media, civilians and their own people, despite the country club treatment by comparison.
History is on our Country's side, on President Bush's side, on the Republican's side and on the side of humanity, freedom and liberty.

You are correct in saying some people will support to the end. Yes, blindly following our president and this war does not equal being a patriot. One does not need to be highly educated or believe everything the media says to see what is becomming of our country.

how can we be so mean to those poor terrorists. Why do we always mistreat people like Hitler, Saddam, Stalin or Fidel--have we no compassion. do we not understand that all we have to do is change our faith to muslim, enslave our women, behead anyone who disagrees with them and teach our children to blow themselves up. i love my country ! what you dont realize or want to except is they hate us period! if those governments fall appart over in that region you all will be speaking arabic in 20 years..they will take over the oil feilds and use the money to buy sh#t from rouge nations like north korea and bomb you into the stone age..maybe instesd of thinking of yourself you should look ahead for your childrens sake! do you think they love us ?
