Now with North Korea doing nuclear tests, and threatening anyone who stands in their way with force, are we in for a world war?

For the past 60 years, we've been on the verge of another "world war"
Even during slow times, like in the mid-80's, we've been 15 minutes away from nuclear missile launches. We just never heard about them.

North Korea is painting there selves into a corner and have little way of backing down with dignity at this point . A cornered animal can be very dangerous and the ball is now in their court . I believe we will board one of their ships for inspection and it will be a toss up if North Korea attacks South Korea over it . Should that happen I believe a substantial number of tactical nuclear weapons will be unleashed in short order on the North putting a quick end to the current regime. At what cost is quite unimaginable.

A world war. Hmm. Maybe. Or just a war between USA and North Korea. Either way, it's sad. I'm on the West Coast...too close to N. Korea for comfort.

north korea is not threatening no one, its is america and its allies that are. if a country has natural wealth, i.e oil, iron, diamonds. copper, etc they will meddle in thier politics even start a civil war.well if u think im just makeing things up, looks the the colonial countires that are in iraq, look at hier history then ask yourself who is north korea threathening?

sure, we are in debt to China, we've allies yet lots of the international dose in contrast to us, although i don't think of nuke's will embark in this no person needs to bypass into that form of conflict, communist if accompanied rapidly by utilising the the creaters teachings it quite is stable yet human beings are to competative to stay by utilising it and maximum center east countries are corrupt and horrable and could never get greater effectual, so sure i belive that we are on the verge on it. have been much greater on the brink of a melancholy additionally in simple terms in case you have been questioning..

I think we are very close to it...as North Korea leader is rather unstable I think the other leading powers will have to tread very carefully....
