I am having a problem with my Java settings. Had reinstalled Java a few times but could not find the JIT?

option to set in my internet options. Why is this so ?
Tried I.E , Mozilla firefox and Netscape browsers and none showed JIT compiler option.

I looked for the above because I am getting a problem accessing an application and this was one setting that was recommended to resolve it.

this can happen from time to time with certain browsers.. make sure you have the update

Go to add/remove software in Control Pannel and delete Java completely. Reboot and go to Sun to get and install a frresh copy of the Java runtime. This sorted out the same problem when I had it.
