You might look at all your DVD packages. Including the DVD in question. Some have Players on the DVD DISC. However You asked about Windows Media and Decoder=Go online first>You`re onlne now right ?> Put the DVD in question in your DVD Drive. > See if the Windows Media Player asks you if you want a codec. If it does accept it and download it. This may take less than 10 minutes.

this means domicile windows Media participant desires an outdoors codec to play this actual DVD (or, it form of feels, any DVD.) WMP (domicile windows Media participant) can play DVD's, confident, yet this replaced into in no way its meant purpose, so it is probable there's some bugs with this. i could recommend getting a participant designed for this purpose. :)

You must have a software program to decode the DVD movie. i.e. Intervideo's WinDVD Most of the time the software comes with your dvd drive.

If you've had no luck with the suggestions already given, try the following link. It's for K-Lite mega codec pack v1.59. I'll warn you now, though, it's 32.1 MB in size.
Hopefully, that should contain all the codecs that you need for any film that you wish to play. (It's the same one that I use, and I've had no problems ... yet!)
Oh yes, I almost forgot to say, it's free.
