Im going to vote conservative no matter what happens. Im not rich, but I can easily say that my income increased and my debt decreased in the past 6 years. do so called liberals really want:
high taxes?
more yellow-bellied "political correctness"?
affirmative action? (this is reverse racist)
amnesty for illegals who use our tax money?
appeasement for enemies? (like Clinton and J. Carter)
a communist/socialist state? (conservative radio would be cancelled by the "Fairness Doctrine" which represents the inability to disagree with the government[as in communism])
more UN, UN taxation of Americans? (the UN's largest voting block is muslim, and the UN as a whole is anti-American)
hillary clinton? (self-proclaimed socialist)
is this really what you support?

I also am not rich but I am voting Republican. The thought of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Chuck Schummer, Hillary Clinton or Ted Kennedy getting more power is the scariest thing I can think of. They are consumed by hate. They have no constructive ideas. They will sell this country out in a minute if they could. Personally I believe that the 'political correctness' and the absence of religion is what is leading to these school shootings and I believe the liberal left is responsible.
If you are not rich and do not have money to contribute - do what I do - volunteer for your local party and/or candidates. You can do a lot to help get out the Republican voters. Look at the races in your county and state. Contact the campaigns and get information. Understand the pros and cons so that if someone says "but so and so says this" you can refute the comment logically and intelligently. Federal campaigns need your help to get out the voters. Call them and see what you can do. Each person has one vote - you can contribute time and/or money. I believe that the time is most important.

It's true that democrats are not afraid of raising taxes to put that money into things that make our country better (some kinds of taxes more than others sometimes). Especially for a strong belief that something is important to the country.
The problem is that they can get almost as bad at times as the Republicans are right now with oozing money into things that aren't giving the country back its money's worth. That's when the Republicans are usually helpful in adding pressure to apply to things in a more disciplined way.
Honestly? If you look at the spending patterns of the last 15 years I'd say quite the reverse seems to be the case.
The need to raise large amounts of money in any campaign seems to interfere with every politician's political approach to government finances anyway. Hillary Clinton is massing hideous amounts of money for 2008. But you'll find, interestingly, that this is the one thing that Republicans will never complain about her. To them huge campaign funds raised is simply fair-game.

No argument from me. I am tired of Political Correctness, and I feel that English IS the national language. If I move to Germany, I damm well better learn German!
I believe in the founding principles of Immigration, (Give us your Tired, your Poor, etc., but for crying out loud, people, follow the next part and ASSIMILATE! Does anyone remember what a "Melting Pot" is? When you make stew, do you keep the carrots segregated from the potatoes and the meat? NO! They are all important ingredients, easily identifiable, but blended together for the final product.
If someone can't accept that very basic principle, then perhaps the US is not the place for that person.
Sorry for the passion, it hit one of my hot buttons!

Go ahead and vote for the continued destruction of our nation -
and more people have fallen into poverty under Bush. Up from a record low of 11.6% under Clinton to 13.4% under Bush. That's about 3 million people.
Also, even though the Dow is rising, many economists think it's because people are shifting their money away from the housing market - which is on its way into decline - which means millions of Americans are about to lose value in their biggest investment.
The deficit for 2006 (while down) is still the third highest deficit of ALL TIME.
Under Bush's watch one enemy nation has gone nuclear, another is nearing nuclear capability. And why have we been unable to stop them? Because we have lost all credibility on the world stage thanks to poor foreign policy and the Iraq failure and the resurgence of the Taliban in Southeast Afghanistan. Terrorism is actually UP in the world under Bush, not down.
So, you're voting for a government that is perpetually on its way toward financial collapse and continuing a failed foreign policy that destablizes the world.
You go ahead and vote for that.

Do you want a cookie? Vote for whomever you choose....it matters not. Democraps are the same as Repukelicans, corrupt, immoral and self-centered. Had either Kerry or Gore won, we'd have the same CFR representatives in the Cabinet. Coservative, liberal, however you prefer to be called, you are still part of the problem.

I agree with you. I am voting conservative as well. You assessment of the situation is right on the mark. Plus we will not have any more liberal judges giving terrorist supporters 28 months for treason.

WELL DONE! "Democrats are communists in disguise" I really liked that response by "afterflake" because it is so true.. its really sickening how the democrats think. one day, if the world is run by democrats, we will all become slaves and the world will have no countries, just land.

...clap, clap, clap. You're voting Conservative, big whoop. Why am I supposed to care? Am I supposed to say, "you're voting for the terrorists," or something of that matter? Unlike others, I value free voting rights, and I could care less who or what you vote for.
