You sure can! I've never had an ectopic pregnancy or a miscarriage, but while I was 2 1/2 months pregnant with my firstborn I had a cyst, resulting in the immediate removal of one ovary and fallopian tube. The ob/gyn told me it would be harder for me to conceive...I went on to have 5 more children. I guess the doctors don't always have the final word!! Good luck to you and your future babies!

Yes! I have had a miscarriage and an ectopic, but my doctor left my tube in. He told me that even if he took it I could still get pregnant it just might take a touch longer. If you are TTC, just be patient. Good luck to you and I wish you the best!

Hypothetically, yes. But if you're really concerned, you might want to check in with a doctor at a fertility clinic. The miscarriage may have done some damage to your uterus and affected your fertility, but it's an extremely rare and nasty miscarriage that will do that kind of thing. if you want to be pregnant again then chances are excellent that you will be.

I'm sorry about the miscarriage, by the way. I had one, and the weeks following it were some of the most depressing and physically taxing ones of my entire life.

I had surgery a week ago. During the surgery it was found that I only have one functioning tube. I was told by the surgeon (a fertility specialist) that I will be able to have more children. So, yes, barring any other problems, you should be able to get pregnant again.

Good luck.

I know at least 2 people that have had babies after having 1 tube. It is hard, but it can happen. I think one person had to have IUI and the other, IVF.
