I live in a warm climate but it does get cool. I hate wearing shoes.

I live in south florida & wear sandals & flip-flops all the time !!! It's not rude unless your wearing them to work & your not allowed to. It's ok not to be crazy about wearing what Paris Hilton is wearing, you more than likely don't have that kind of money. You wear what you want & say a big F* you to anyone who's got a problem with that.

If you're headed for the Franciscan monk look, you've got a major part of it! Just teasing. If you're in a warm climate, the sandals aren't really a problem. However, the birkenstock with funky fleece socks might draw a few people's attention.

I wear what I like regardless of style. If it's for work I need to take note of that and be cautious.
In high school (I grew up in Salt Lake) we would wear shorts with a foot of snow, a sweater or sweatshirt, sandals (birkenstocks or Teva's usually) and wool socks. But back then it was stylish, we all did it.

I don't think it is rude, and there are certain places where sandals can be worn all year long. If you have to go somewhere "important" or nice, though, I wouldn't wear sandals.

If you want to be out of style so-be it. I would not worry about style so much....i would worry about you toes getting cold and they may look ugly all cold and purple. If the weather is cold, people will notice your sandals. And then they will also notice you toes. Best of luck.

Your feet are important and if you prefer wearing sandals wear them regardless of fashion

wear whatever you want. does it really matter if anyone notices your wearing sandals in december? my best friend wears flip flops in the snow because she hates wearing shoes
