Well if that is a high end notebook it has intel centrino dual processor so it quadruple your processor speed. Not bad actually? All notebooks or desktops are good as long as they are expensive.. The higher the price the more expensive means more better. Just take good care of it run tests such virus scans, adware, spyware scans and most important thing is to scan and clean your regestry to maintain your performance....

That is what I'm using right now. I got it a few months ago and haven't had any problems with it. Dell did have a recall on some of their notebook batteries. Go to their website to see if yours was included. The recall depends on the date purchased. You'll also need the serial number from the battery to tell for sure.

In general, it's a pretty good Notebook. One word of caution, however, contrary to what you may see advertised DELL service has gone from excellent to close to being the worst. I've been trying to get Dell to replace a defective hard drive for 10 months. I know their stalling until my warranty expires then they'll come back and tell me it's not their problem. I've found dozens of service related complaints about DELL on several forums.

Notebooks are good. I heard the best notebooks are made by DELL. Insprion is fine, but it all depends from what sense d'you think it's good/bad. As long as you don't buy a DELL computer, you're good to go.They, are the BAD ones, lol.

I'm thinking this question would have served you better BEFORE you made the purchase. It seems to be a fine computer. Ultimately if it does what you want it to do, why question it?
Here's a link for a review done on it. It's a bit dated (Feb '06).

A notebook or any computer is only as good as how you look after it. Ensure that you have good security programs and keep them updated. If you don't have them, then it will cause you loads of problems.
If you would like some free, good and recommended security programs, go to http://www.webuser.co.uk/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/219333/an/0/page/0#219333

Dell is an OK computer. It is good for student and word processing. It depends on what you like. HP is good for games and moviesThinkpad is good for bussiness. Toshiba and Dell are good for school.
