Salt lake city , Utah. Mormons are VERY big on famoly trees. For everyone! Unbelievable records are there ! try it. They may even have a web site - if not try local librarian for 'directions' for contact.

To start write down everything you know about yourself, your parents, grandparents...speak with these family members and others and you should have a good start on your family history. http://www.ancestry.com will help you out. You don't have to have a paid subsription for the basic stuff but a lot of records will be off limits with a free subsription. But you will still find helpful articles and free charts and such to help you keep track of info you find. There are also groups here on yahoo you can join where you can speak with others researching their family histories that will help you out with ?'s. Who knows you may even find a cousin you didn't know existed while searching, I did. But be careful it can get addictive LOL. Good luck!
