Why don't you be a little more pro-active and take lemsip all year round to PREVENT getting them the first place

Listen "Lemsip", I roll with the punches. Taking medicine before hand is like taking the suprise out of Christmas, it takes all the fun out of it... I live on the edge.

Well i do try to prevent it (eat lots of fruit in the winter and get a flu jabs) btu when i do get a cold the cough medicine makes the cough go anway quicker (at least mine does and its yummy so i dont mind taking it)

I don't think "Lemsip" is a preventative, just a treatment. I was thinking maybe a flu shot would work?

Luckily I hardly ever get a cold or flu.....damnit I'm sure I just cursed myself by making this statement guess I'll call in to work sick now.

Duh!!! because cough medicine doesn't prevent colds, it just relieves the symptoms after you get the cold...
to prevent getting a could we should eat a healthy diet and take our cold preventing vitamin and minerals, like vitamin C, zinc, echinacea, etc
