Ladies what are your experiences...did you all have Linea nigra?

LOl...its still 50-50% yeah...I dont know if my gyn would ask for a ultrasound at 20 weeks but personally iw ant to avoid it as I have read that US has side effects too....but even i do have to go...The laws in India do not permit th erevelation of the baby's sex...so I have to wait 5 more months

From what you described, sounds like you have a 50 percent chance of having a girl.
And then again you have a 50 percent chance of having a boy.
In other words, this is just a silly old wives' tale with no medical fact behind it. Are you having a ultrasound at 20 weeks. This is a much more reliable way to see the sex of the baby, although of course it isn't foolproof.

I never got the linea nigra. 1 girl and 1 boy...but I've always suspected the fact that I am very fair skinned has played a role in me not getting a linea nigra.

Just about everyone gets it during pregnancy, from the pubic area to the navel.

Mine is past my navel (top of the stomach) and I am having a boy.

i had it last time and it was a boy just an old wives tale again x
