Sounds like the police officer was offended. Some police officers might overlook this type of situation.

What I have noticed about this country lately is that freedoms
we had twenty and thirty years ago are slowing getting chipped
away in tiny pieces. That is, we don't have the freedoms we
had in 1970 and 1980. You can thank the religious kooks,
career politicians, and those that file lawsuits for just about any
reason.

First of all, the President is not going to know what the Dekalk County Law enforcement officer is doing. There are Federal laws, State laws, and City Ordinances. The lower laws sometimes override and are stricter than the Federal laws. Dekalk might have something on the books about profanity in bumper stickers, who knows. I know we have a law that says it is illegal to cuss on a public street or highway. Do you really think Bush knows about that one? Give me a break. It has nothing to do with republican or democrat, it has to do with what is socially acceptable for the area you are living in. That is how most laws came into being.

Bush should be tried for his crimes against humanity, as well as the whole lot of his Administration. The evil self serving ways of this administration should be brought to justice so all would know the truth. The Illuminati, should be broken up as well. But miracles like that don't happen very often.

Don't get tired of it, use your frustration to fight it. That ticket should be fought, and just maybe you could contact the local papers and start some **** of your own. Fight goverment corruption!

As far as the response about "profanity laws", Why is it ok for profanity to be used all over the television, but not on a bumper sticker?

The Bushit stickers have been around in various forms for years. I hope the ACLU helps that lady sue the Bushit out of the city.

Thats just plain wrong. Its not 'pouting' to complain about it contrary to what another answer said, nor is it 'selfish' to complain about the injustice. That was a clear abuse of authority.

Yes I think you should be able to put any bumper sticker on your own property.

*sigh* another person like this. ok...write down the name of our country. United States. now erase nited and tates. you get US. The US makes all the rules together. there is no them. it is us. somepeople are just republicans. Bush is no dictator. he's our president which US elected. You voted. Just not everyone voted the way you did. When things go your way, be happy, but realize that its not going someone elses way. When things don't go your way, don't pout, and still realize that its going someone elses way. you can't be selfish and take all the cookies for yourself.

What ever happend to freedom of speech? I do not think it was right for her to be ticketed...that is insane...I would have fought the ticket. People have a right to their own opinions and it is not agains the law....Bush does suck and I have a right to say it and proud of it.

Noone has rewritten the constitution. The only way to do that is with an amendment.
