I'd like to know what foods you typically choose in certain situations. Like right now I'm sick, I typically eat salty things when I'm sick (probably some medical bumbo-jumbo behind that)...pretzels, crackers with tomato soup...that kind of stuff. You pick the situations and the food.

I like tomato soup when I am sick. When I am feeling down I like something like meat loaf, mash potatoes with gravy., mac and cheese. Hope you feel better soon.

When I feel a cold coming on I immediately run for Chicken Soup with Matzoh Balls. Believe me, it's no old wives' tale that this is a cure-all, has something to do with enzymes in the steam.

For a hang over...you can't beat a really cheesy bean burrito...yum!

Finally, after a lazy day of making love, there is nothing like Champagne with smoked oysters on Garlic Melba Rounds...need I say more?

Never thought about that before.
I do get cravings for sweet food sometimes and salty at other times. Never connected these cravings to situations though.
I do believe that people crave comfort foods in stressful situations.
And I crave coffee pretty well all the time, but that's an addiction.

When I need a "pick me up" I try to eat something that will keep my belly happy for a few hours, like, meatloaf and scalopped potatoes. If I'm sad, I'll try something sweet like ice cream or a slice of apple pie with whipped topping.

When I am cold and not feeling well, I like hot chocolate with a ton of marshmallows, or some hot apple cider.

Anytime I am tired or drowsy I like a Dr. Pepper and a 3 Musketeers Bar.

The week before Aunt Flo comes I can eat enough chocolate to wrap around the world three or four times

sick> salty foods like chicken noodle soup, plain chips, salty greens/ spinach

happy> cheesy foods like pizza, lasagna, cheese curls, doritos

sad/ depressed> sweets like cake, pie, donuts, ice cream

anxious> sweets like candy, chocolate, sodas

tired/ bored> starchy foods like rice, noodles, mashed potatoes

hungry> meals including meat and vegetables

Well when i dont feel well (mentally) anything sweet will do. when i feel sick i eat a soup and when im stressed or really have to concentrate on something i eat lollies.
